KOCH & BERGFELD "Tea and Coffee Service" 800 silver, early 20th c.Court jeweller Hansen, silver 800, 5 pieces, consisting of: Tea and coffee pot, sugar bowl, milk jug and pastry tray, 1275 g., MZ, signs of age, dents.The Hansen gold and silversmiths, now based in Hamburg, were founded in Kiel in 1814. In 1888 Marten Heinrich Hansen (Nordstrand 1848 - Kiel 1919) was appointed court jeweller to the German Emperor. He also made regatta prizes for the Kiel Week.
