OSWALD COULDREY, BRITISH (1882-1958), 'PARROTS AND PHARISEES, MADURA', watercolour on paper, framed, initialled and dated 25 08 16, 36 x 24.5cm Born in Abingdon, Oxon, Couldrey joined the Indian Education Service and lived in India between 1909-1919, the last eight years as Principal of the Rajamundry College of Art in Madras Presidency (now Andhra Pradesh).
