押经炉据《宣炉小志》释：“名不可考，式扁浅两耳有圈，三足列棋子状，俗指为焚香，可置佛经上，故称押经。”所制此件押经铜炉宽平口，鼓腹。炉身两侧置鋆耳，耳型园润略下垂。耳鋆衔环，形态精巧别致。炉身随自身曲线收聚成三足，线条曲度有法，简洁流畅，壮硕遒劲，恰似将精气收敛凝聚于炉中，手感沉实。
