拍品造型小巧，秀美。主体纹饰以青花釉里红绘画鱼藻图，鱼藻纹为典型的瓷器纹饰，但其本起源于北宋末年的宫廷画师刘采，自此以后，鱼藻题材的水墨作品开始为人所知，也是从此时起鱼藻纹逐渐作为瓷器纹饰出现。鱼在中国传统文化中有着相当重要的象征意义，古有庄子与惠子相辩“鱼之乐”，虽“子非鱼，安知鱼之乐”，但“人乐”便可移情为“鱼乐”，不失为美学之成。此后“鱼之乐”便成为自由无拘的象征，对中国文人而言更是别具意味。
