GAO JIANFU (1879-1951) BLUE FLYCATCHER AND GINKGO A Chinese scroll painting, ink and colour on paper, inscribed and signed Jianfu, with two artist`s seals, one reads Gao Lun zhi xi, the other reads Guangzhou Fanyu xian, 66cm x 32cm. Provenance: from the collection of Dr Oliver Impey (1936-2005), and Dr Jane (Mellanby) Impey (1938-2021), of Cumnor Place, Oxford. According to Oliver Impey`s archive, the scroll was bought in Cambridge on 28 July 1965. Exhibited: Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, 23rd August, 2005.
