AFTER WU CHANGSHUO ZHONG KUI A Chinese scroll painting, ink and colour on paper, inscribed and with the signature of Wu Changshuo, with two artist`s seals, one reads Wu Changshi, the other reads Wu Jun zhiyin, 136cm x 44.5cm. Provenance: from the collection of Dr Oliver Impey (1936-2005), and Dr Jane (Mellanby) Impey (1938-2021), of Cumnor Place, Oxford. According to Oliver Impey`s archive,the scroll was bought in December 1965. Exhibited: Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, 23rd August, 2005.
