A state dinner was held at Dublin Castle and visits were made to the Guinness storehouse, government buildings and the National War Memorial Gardens. The Queen is shown here laying a wreath at the Garden of Remembrance. Michael Hanrahan was appointed by the Irish Government as the official artist to record the Queen's state visit capturing moments from The State Banquet, views of the castle and the Queen smiling during her time in Ireland. One of his works from this series was gifted and accepted by the Queen and is now held in the Royal Collection. Hanrahan was born in Dublin in 1951. He resides in Lahinch, County Clare and draws inspiration from the dramatic landscape and atmosphere of the Irish seascape surrounding him.品相报告: Unexamined out of glazed frame.
