A pair of Swiss 'Black Forest' wood vase stands, c.1900, each carved with two pheasants standing before leaves and flowers supporting glass trumpet shaped vases, 50.5cm high (2)Evidence of old, inactive woodworm in areas overall, including the pheasants. Small old nicks and losses, including the beaks of two birds and the feathers of the head and tips of leaves. One base with a split to the side of the naturalistic base near the tail of one bird. General wear overall consistent with age and use.
