A RARE COPPER-RED-DECORATED 'DRAGON’ VASEKANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)The slightly tapered body is decorated on the exterior with nine writhing four-clawed dragons amidst flames, their eyes highlighted in underglaze blue. The dragons are arranged in pairs confronting one another, with the exception of a smaller one on the short trumpet neck chasing a flaming pearl.
