A 19TH CENTURY MALACHITE SEALThe handle composed of polished sections of malachite, to an oval bloodstone matrix carved with Calverton HallSize/dimensions: 7.3cm longGross weight: 24.2 grams Calverton is a Village in Nottinghamshire, Calverton Hall was demolished in 1961.品相报告: There is a subtle repair to the base of the malachite near the matrix, where one of the panels has fractured and put back in place, it is not a recent repair, and could be from manufacture, but there is a slight flaring to the gold setting near the fracture. There are another couple of possible fractures, but these could be faults in the stone. The polished handle has a smooth surface.
