Set of six late 19th Century Copeland bone china dessert plates, each painted with a different orchid within Richelieu shape gilded and jewelled scroll border, pattern number 7916, c.1894, printed, painted and impressed marksAt least three plates have some small flakes to the underside of the rim, the worse plate having three flakes. One plate has a hairline crack running from the rim. Another plate has an area to the underside, approximately 2cm in diameter, where the glaze has yellowed. All plates show signs of wear and use, with wear to the gilding and decoration. All the plates have scratches to the surface and the rims are a bit rough in areas.
