此件钵盂炉铜质精纯细腻，仿自宋代钵盂样式。钵盂本为佛门法器，由天竺国随佛教传入中国，初为化缘之用，盛食、盛水，盛施舍物等。佛经上记载，释迦牟尼手托钵盂，广种福田。此款钵盂炉形制古朴，口沿处一周莲瓣纹饰，整体线条圆滑流畅，造型典雅端正 ，整器器壁厚薄适中，重量分外沉甸，其铜质光润莹泽，雅致庄重。
