|瞿应绍（1780－1849）字子冶，最善画竹，兰、柳亦工，兼能书法篆刻。民国《退醒庐笔记》：“邑绅瞿子冶广文，应绍书画，宗南田草衣。道、咸间尤以画竹知名于时。……更喜以宜兴所制紫砂茶壶，绘竹于上而镌之，奏刀别有手法，为他人所不能望其项背，故当时一壶之值，已需三、四两。逮瞿物故之后，阙值更昂。今偶有此种“瞿壶”，骨董肆皆居为奇货，非十金、数十金不可，而真者尤未必能得。”|来源：政策发还文物。
