A pair of Japanese Imari porcelain oval serving dishes Late 19th Century; Japan Each marked with an embossed `6` to the underside Each Kinrand-style with foliate, monkey, and crane motifs and gilt touches throughout the design, 2 pieces Each: 1.125" H x 17.875" L x 13.5" W品相报告: Each overall good condition with shelf wear, scattered minor scuffs, scratches, and inherent firing flaws commensurate with age and use. Surface grime present on each. A 0.25" circular area of loss to the glazed motif on one. Recesses to the glaze/pinholing are present in the surface for each. There is oxidation of the gilt surface as well as loss of the gold glaze for each. Each with rubbed wear to gilt decoration, particularly at the edge. No evidence of repairs or restorations under blacklight for each.
