Italian silver sugar pot - Turin 19th century, mark of CARLO BALBINOoval shaped body decorated resting on four feet; the lid with pomegranate-shaped final. hallmarked with the Italian hallmarks for 800/1000 silver in use after 1873, silversmith Carlo Balbino who deposited his own mark with "the imprint of a lion" and his initial letters in 1824 (Ref.
