A small damage to the lower right corner and edge, along with minor flaked loss to the upper left corner can be seen under U-V light. In addition, reduction of minor pin prick loss along wood grain in the sky is visible. The restoration is a little excessive and insensitively applied.Excessive feathered restoration in the sky masks slight thinness to the paint layer and reduction of exposure of the pale ground layer.Textured paint through the figures and the tree trunk is very well preserved and fine detail is retained.Very minor natural sketchy paint thinness through the makeshift stage and the building behind the crowd has been slightly compromised revealing more of the pale ground colour.Very slight wear through the vulnerable glazing to the periphery of the tree foliage is visible.Fine details are preserved and chromatic and tonal subtleties retained."In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above.
