Nesbitt Dialogue - White and Red Tulips '73', 173 x 254 cm (unframed) Provenance: with Gimpel Fils, London, cat.no.18 (according to the label on the reverse) Note: Nesbitt began his career as an abstract artist until Robert Indian suggested to turn to photorealism. Nesbitt served as the official artist for the NASA Apollo 9 and Apollo 13 space missions. He was honoured by the United States Post Office in 1980 when a series of four stamps of his floral paintings were issued.
