A 19th century French painted pine Morbier or Comtoise longcase clock with two train weight driven movement striking on a bell, the white enamelled circular dial with black Roman hour numerals and inner date ring, the brass surround embossed with fruit basket and scrolls, the low bellied trunk with glazed pendulum lenticle, the base with painted figural scene, height excluding hood 222cm, with nine rod pendulum and two weights (hood disassembled).
