Tilt top with secured split (approx. 33cm long) and displaying typical old marks, scuffs, dents, gouges and scratches consistent with age and use. The pierced gallery with repaired breaks, notably to corners. The bird-cage action with a repaired break to lower block, the wedge probably replaced, and with fractures around the site. The stem faded in colour, and with typical minor old marks, dents and scratches. Later metal bracket to underside.
