Description A group of thirteen George III / Victorian and American sterling silver and silverplated serving utensils Various English and American makers, various dates, 18th - 20th centuryComprising five sterling silver pierced fish servers / slices: one with rose and thistle motif, William Knight II, London, 1822, one in the "King" pattern with eagle crest to handle end, William Cummins (or Cumying), Dublin, 1820, one with monogram, "M," possibly by Michael Plummer, London, 1795, one with monogram, "WAB," by Thomas Wallis II & Jonathan Hayne, London, 1817, and one with monogram, "CEC," by George Adams, London, 1845; a pierced Sheffield silverplate serving fork, by Harrison Brothers & Howson, Sheffield, 1865; a George III sterling silver marrow scoop, maker`s mark rubbed, London, 1766; a pair of George III sterling silver two-fronged forks with ram crest to underside of handle ends, Thomas Wallis II & Jonathan Hayne, London, 1820; a large George III sterling silver meat skewer with swan crest and monogram, "H," by William Fearn, London, 1810; a sterling silver asparagus server and pronged serving spoon, both with armorial crests to handle ends, the pronged spoon engraved, "I duP.C," to underside of handle end, both marked by Gorham Mfg. Co., Providence, Rhode Island, and retailed by J.E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 20th century; and a silverplated serving tongs, by Thomas Prime, Birmingham, late 19th century; together with a George III sterling silver goblet, probably Hester Bateman (mark partially rubbed), London, 1806; and a small American coin silver cup with repoussé and engraved decoration, engraved "Charles M. Simonson" to front, marked "Z. Bostwick" to underside, by Zalmon Bostwick (active 1846-1852), New York, circa 1850; all items marked (15 items total).(L: 13 3/4 in.
