此式红釉盘有内外满施红釉、内白外红釉两种，拍品即为后者。拍品造型周正，白釉细润，红釉俏丽，红白二色，对比鲜明，饶有意趣。
霁红釉是以铜为着色剂的高温釉品种，其烧造难度较大。道光年间龚洵在所编《景德镇陶歌》中称：官古窑成重霁红，最难全美费良工。霜天晴昼精心合，一样抟烧百不同。由此可见霁红釉器烧造之难。
款识：『大清雍正年制』六字双行楷书款
