此式绿地紫龙纹碗为清代御窑传统品类，据《国朝宫史》记载，为清宫皇室日用器皿，专供贵人品级所用。
拍品形制规整秀丽。内壁施白釉，外壁以绿釉为地，釉下暗刻海水双龙赶珠纹，并以紫彩填饰，云龙矫健，姿态生动。纹饰刻画细腻，制作工艺考究，绿彩鲜丽，紫彩朴雅，色彩深邃，对比鲜明，为道光御窑佳作。
款识：『大清道光年制』六字三行篆书款
