拍品为大号文房笔洗，唇口、丰肩、腹部下收、至足外撇、圈足，形制丰腴端庄。外壁施以炉钧釉，其釉面自然流淌，蓝紫交织熔融，犹如水波涟漪，又好似山岚雾霭，极尽变换之能事，引人入胜，陈于案头，可置倾心，赏心悦目。
《景德镇陶录》记载:“炉钧釉,色如东窑、宜兴挂釉之间,而花纹流淌变化过之”，炉钧釉是一种低温瓷釉,以钴、铜为呈色剂，创烧于雍正，而后历代均有烧制，釉面具有仿钧窑的特色,故称“炉钧瓷”。
