单色釉一观釉色，二观器型，作为仿古采今仿钧釉的一种，窑变色发展至清一朝已经被视为祥瑞,因烧制难度较大，颇为珍罕。因含多种微量元素，更有“入窑一色，出彩万千”的说法。
拍品尺寸较大，口呈蒜头形、长颈、扁圆腹、圈足，形制周正，线条优美，颇为难得。器身所施窑变釉，釉水流淌自然，釉面晶莹润亮，呈色异常美妙,红蓝交织，如风动云霞,变换旖施。正如民国许之衡《饮流斋说瓷》中言：“窑变者...大抵欲作深红之色，非一般颜料所能造...颇为特异”。殊为难得。
