拍品器形小巧可人,器外壁施以霁红釉，釉色深沉,釉面莹润略显橘皮纹，胎体坚致，堪为文房案头之隽品。
水盂又名水中丞,据晚明著名清赏家文震亨《长物志》记载:“水中丞以铜性猛,贮水久则有毒,易脆笔,故必以陶者为佳。”故文人雅士历来对瓷质水盂情有独钟,置于斋室案头,实为佳妙之事。
