花觚原为商周酒器与礼器，宋开始生产瓷制觚，其功能亦慢慢转变成陈设器，因多用于插花，故称花觚。
拍品通体以青花为饰，外壁满工绘画，皆饰各种花卉纹，布局繁密，繁而有序，青花发色艳丽，形制硕大，俊拔挺括，为康熙时期典型风格。
