A part teaset, grisaille with iron red and gilt accents, Yongzheng period, ca. 1720-30, China, A globular teapot with birds on rocks and flowering branches, executed in black (grisaille or encre-de-chine) with additional brown, iron-red and gilt enamels. Together with a lidded creamer, a tea canister, six saucers, eight teabowls, five handled (coffee) cups and a pattipan (damages). Teapot:L 18.5 cm (handle to spout) and H 12 cm. Saucers: ca. 11.5 cm, The teapot with vertical crack in the side. The pattipan also broken and repaired. Most pieces with small faults and issues. Some wear of the pattern in varying degree. No sugar bowl.
