Manner of Sir Edwin Henry Landseer (1802-1873), Oil on card, A Scottish cottage interior depicting a woman and six children. Approx. 7 1/4" x 8 1/2" Provenance: Reputed to be from the office of Henry Ashton (1810-1872), Assistant Architect at Windsor Castle from 1820 under Sir Jeffry Wyatville (1766-1840), then chief architect until the 1850s. In 1850-51 he designed and rebuilt Sir Edwin Landseer's house at 1 St. John's Wood Road
