Description

报国寺，位于上海市青浦区朱家角镇西淀山湖畔，原为明代兴修的关帝祠，又称武圣大庙，民间习称关王庙。1989年当时的上海市佛教协会会长，上海玉佛寺方丈真禅法师将关王庙加以修缮扩建，并改为上海玉佛寺下院，取佛教徒齐心报效祖国之意，定为“报国寺”，由中国佛教协会会长赵朴初题写寺名。
