题识：司马迁据左氏国语，采世本战国策，逑楚汉春秋。按其后事，讫於天汉，其言秦汉详矣。至於采经摭传，分散数家之事甚多。疏略或有抵梧。亦其涉猎者广博,贯穿经传,驰骋古今上下数千载间,斯已勤矣。又其是非颇谬于圣人。运乾姻兄大人雅正。荄甫胡澍。
钤印：胡澍之印、甘伯父 简介：胡澍（1825-1872）字甘甫、号丹伯、甘伯、石生、绩溪翁。官户部郎中。精小学，工篆书，得秦、汉人遗意。
