此件鸠形熏炉，曲项昂首嘴半张，伫立山石台上，尽展英姿。熏巧作水鸟之形，翎毛纤细轻柔。羽翅则或直或曲，迭迭重重，层次分明。炉身分上下二截，以下部子口扣合，腹内中空。燃熏时烟随颈而上，让其口吐香气，充满文人趣味。
