Description

说明：白度母是二十一度母之一，相传是观世音菩萨左眼眼泪所化生，佛经指其身色洁白，故名。最大特征为其脸、手、足心合有七眼，故亦称「七眼佛母」，其额上一目能观十万无量佛土，其余六眼则观照六道众生，与尊胜佛母、无量寿佛合称为「长寿三尊」。
度母造像头戴五叶宝冠，面相端庄祥和，双目微张并嵌银，鼻梁高直。耳边饰圆珰，丰实的上身袒露，双乳隆起，胸前饰璎珞。左臂曲肘，当胸结说法印并拈持莲花茎，右臂曲展于膝前，施与愿印，两手手指均做到柔软曼妙的感觉。两侧肩花带攀升之势，茎叶及莲花舒张盛开，刻划精细。双腿结跏趺坐姿，下承排列工整的双层式莲花座。
