说明：接引佛是西方净土世界的教主，只为解众生之苦，故发四十八大愿，在历经累世修行之后，报得极乐净土，成为西方极乐世界的教主，随时准备接引功德圆满的往生者，故亦称接引佛。凡人寿终之时，阿弥陀佛来迎亡者往生西方净土，故造像常为立佛，且手作来迎印，并产生丰富多元的图像变化，同类姿态于早期印度造像中即有范例。
此尊接引佛立像螺发刻画清晰，面容圆润饱满，神态沈静而优雅；前胸袒露，外披袈裟。左手于腹前结禅定印，右手自然下垂结来迎印，仪态端庄肃穆，此造像工艺考究，袈裟衣褶的处理尤为精彩，是明代难得之精品造像。
