Description A DOMED SERPENTINE STAMP SEALPresumably Sasanian, ancient Persia /Iran, c. 3rd – 6th century. The round domed stamp seal engraved with a human figure, an antelope, leaves, and stars. The opaque green stone with creamy-ochre inclusions.Condition: Very good condition with minor weathering commensurate with age. Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
