孔雀蓝釉又称为“法蓝”，是一种以铜为着色剂的低温。釉，其唐宋时期已有制品，但将孔雀蓝与釉下青花相结合的技术直到明代宣德年间才逐渐成熟。由于其发色难以控制，有些发绿，称为孔雀绿釉或“法翠”，而色蓝者与釉下青花结合技艺更难，因而存世品较少。此对摆件釉面莹润，诸色交融，垂流中变化万千，迷离迤逦，妙不可言，实为难得之物。
