郎窑红釉为康熙时仿明宣德宝石红釉的品种，过去一直认为是郎廷极督陶时所烧，故名“郎窑”，其色如初凝牛血一般鲜红浓艳，乾隆御制诗中曾有“世上朱砂非所拟，西方宝石致难。同”的吟咏，乃清代单色釉中的名品，一直为藏家所重。拍品是郎窑红釉瓷器的典型器物，也是康熙瓷器中流行的式样，端庄大方。外壁满施红釉，釉面现玻璃光泽，色泽均匀浓艳，垂釉近足，保留质朴原始之痕迹。
