此瓶整作四方形，唇口，束颈较长，削肩，弧腹下收，底承高圈足，足形与口沿相仿，天地相应。
颈部两侧对铸螭龙攀爬为耳，昂首上视，四足紧伏器壁，花尾颀长柔美，灵活欲动。
颈部饰花卉锦纹，腹部主题纹饰以水波锦纹做地，两面浮雕折枝花卉纹一支，朵花硕大，似瓣瓣落英，徐徐洒落，逐波而流，装饰效果极佳。
通身熟栗皮壳沉实润莹，底蕴颇盛，柔滑恬静，局部大片鎏金，错落有致，增添富丽之姿。古代造器之法度乃非精铜不铸器，非佳器不鎏金，足见此拍品之贵。
