蒸饼式香盒，形制圆满，古朴大方，外部通髹红褐色大漆，金漆绘制卷草纹、花卉纹，并间以海螺纹。法螺，为藏传佛教“吉祥八宝”之一，为密宗必备之法器、供器。佛经上讲佛陀讲经说法时声音嘹亮，犹如大海螺的声音响彻四方，佛陀入灭后，后世遂以海螺之音代表佛陀的法音召唤，故称之为法螺。
