拍品成套保存极为难得，除一对得利酒器之外，均以莳绘工艺制作。多层盖盒盖面主体纹饰为山水幽居图，方盘为松石图，菊花纹酒杯，诸多器物漆面均推光细致，纹饰繁复交杂，但布局极其严谨，体现了日本漆工的精湛水平。酒壶赤绘描金工艺，肩部点缀绿彩，主体纹饰为云龙纹，底部红彩“福”字款。
日本传统漆工艺在明代时称为“倭漆”，清代时称为“洋漆”，到了现代则称为“莳绘”。莳绘源自我国唐代金银钿装大刀上的“末金镂”工艺，东传日本后慢慢发展演变成为独具日本特色的漆工艺。随着其工艺不断成熟，越来越受到上层阶级尤其是皇室贵族的青睐。
