此件佩饰以上等和阗白玉雕成，玉质致密莹润。玉佩为厚片状，雕作展翅欲飞的蝴蝶形，，一面微鼓，双面工。长须向两侧卷曲，蝶翼伸展略成扇形，雕琢十分写实，细节精致，纹理毕现。头部前端雕有一束花卉，叶片舒展，花朵秀雅，层次丰富。整件玉佩造型饱满，雕琢技艺纯熟高超，为同类器物之上品。
