An early 20th century knot design hinged bangle, the front section designed as interwoven knots, tongue and box snap clasp fastening with safety chain, stamped ‘9ct’, 6.7cm x 5.5cm, weight 12.5gmsCR; The front section shows some misshaping and denting, and general scratching and wear to the knotsmensurate with age and use. The seams to the inside of the hollow links are visible, showing larger gaps in some places then others. No signs of repair. The base of the bangle shows heavy denting and some misshaping, and general scratching and wearmensurate with age and use. No splitting or signs of repair to the bottom section. The clasp is in working order, opening smoothly and closing with a snap. Safety chain in good order.
