Orlando Norie (British, 1832-1901),Two oval studies of soldiers in 19th century uniform,Watercolour on paper,One signed lower left, the other lower right,Each 20cm x 16.5cm,In matching fluted ribboned frames (2) CONDITION REPORT:The pictures are framed under glass and have not been removed for inspection.  The paint surface of both works appears to be in good condition, showing no obvious damage.  The colours appear clean and bright, but may have faded somewhat over time.  The paper (which is largely unpainted) may have darkened somewhat over time and shows the odd fox mark.
