A burr walnut and rosewood sarcophagus shaped tea caddy, early 19th century, the hinged cover inlaid with a central mother of pearl cartouche, opening to a rosewood interior with twin hinged cannisters and central aperture, beaded borders and uponpressed bun feet, 18cm H x 33cm W x 18cm DCondition reportMinor evidence of historic woodworm in the cover, feet are probably later and are fixed with later screws.Otherwise the caddy appears to be in good condition with only light general rubbing and wear.
