A George III oak and mahogany cross banded eight day longcase clock, signed J Kitchen, Nantwich, the flat top hood with fluted pilasters flanking the 34cm square brass dial applied with Roman and Arabic numerals, centred with a subsidiary second dial and date aperture, signed with the makers name and enclosing the two train movement striking on a suspended saucer bell, the case with conforming quarter pilasters and a shaped door, raised upon an associated plinth base, 206cm high (no weights or pendulum) (at fault)
