An oak chest on stand, late 17th/early 18th century, the moulded plank top above an arrangement of three long drawers, applied with geometric moulding and enclosing oak liners running front to back each with later brass droplet handles, raised upon a stand with a plain frieze upon ring turned supports united by a scalloped cross stretcher and ball feet, 127cm H x 100cm W x 62cm DCondition reportMinor splits, stains and marks to the chest top, associated drawer handles with some minor evidence of glue residue to the top drawer front indicating some light restoration.All drawer liners have splits with some evidence of historic worm in the bottom drawer. Little or no wear to the ball feet indicating they are later, overall general minor wearmensurate with age and use with some evidence of light restoration, the chest appears firm with little or no play in the joints.
