潘光旦（1899—1967），1899年8月生于江苏省宝山县罗店镇（今属上海市）。字仲昂，原名光亶（后以亶字笔画多，取其下半改为光旦），又名保同，笔名光旦（见1929《新月》），西名Quentin pan。社会学家，优生学家，民族学家。
大同博学士，德泽护人权。侨伦称儒宗，芝园有二天。
邓萃英先生学邃大同，蜚声法界，杨愔其德，业以为人之师表，生平侠肠古道，乃为当代儒宗新闻，同仁之楷模。诚吾㑪之，万家生辉也。谨泐数言以志景仰。公历一九五六年一月，南海潘光旦时客香海。
