Description Large Chinese panoramic handpainted on paper scroll painting, rendered in watercolor, ink and gouache, depicting a military or royal procession including men in official garments, some atop horses and others with banners, entering into a walled city, with villagers bowing along their path. An unoccupied temple sits in the background with a large landscape visible in the distant background. Mounted onto a paper support and framed by a silk border.
