Anderson (California/Illinois, 1893-1960) folk art carved wooden figures together in a sculptural group, "Shotgun Wedding", including one (1) bride in a blue dress holding a bouquet, one (1) groom in an oversized crosshatch-patterned suit, one (1) pensive white-haired woman in a polka-dotted dress, one (1) somber white-haired man with a skinned knee holding a shotgun, and one (1) balding preacher in a black cape reading from the bible. All figures with incised signature "ANDY" to shoulders.
