Description Japanese Meiji bronze covered tripodal censer or incense burner, having a lotus form lid with figural foo dog and pierced ball finial, round form body with flowering branch handles and low relief dragon and foliate decoration, and tripodal paw feet with foo mask knees. Character mark to underside. 14 1/4" H x approx. 15" W x approx. 10 1/4" D. Late 19th to early 20th century.品相报告: Condition Report Both flowering branch handles are loose in mounts; one handle with loss of one flower form. Scattered minor denting to body, largest area measuring approx. 3/4" dia. It is likely censer originally had a base, now missing.出处: Provenance The collection of Gerry Sadow, Nashville, Tennessee.
