Description Porcelain figurine depicting a sultan seated atop an elephant on a red howdah, wearing royal clothing and holding a scepter or staff in his left hand. He is attended by a Moor, seated atop the elephant's head and holding a cane in his left hand. The elephant is draped with a gilt magenta blanket with design simulating embroidery. Blue crossed sword, dot and dash mark to the underside of the elephant's belly. Marked "M" in green to one foot and additionally impressed 1165. 10" H x 10" W x 3 3/4" D. Mid 20th century.品相报告: Condition Report Inspection under UV light shows repairs to nobleman's scepter and to Moor's neck, with additional minor touchups to the nobleman's robe.
